Registration is open June 1, 2009 for the Fall State Cup for the following divsions;

• US Youth Soccer Eastern New York Championship Cup - U12 and U12 Small Sided
• ENYYSA Challenge Cup - U12

Due to the potential transfer of the Swine Flu Virus we are asking that teams refrain from the traditional handshake at the end of the game. In order to show sportsmanship, teams can line up as they do now and say nice game to each other without the high five or handshake. We do not want to cause concern; we are simply putting out this advisory to err on the side of caution and to insure the health of our players.

The Eastern New York Soccer Hall of Fame has inducted four more members. The two youth association inductees are Barbara Rodriguez and Pat Grecco, while the amateur association will honor Bruce Friedman and Nicola Turchi.

Eastern New York’s Coaching Education staff is offering free coaching courses to any recreation program that makes a request to ENYYSA. The staff will conduct a Youth Module course designed primarily for coaches who coach 6-8 year olds.  For further information CLICK ON CONTINUE...

USYSA Region 1 has issued the following position on the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Program:

1. Youth Soccer Region I Supports the Soccer Academy Program
2. The Region I ODP program continues as constituted and will be enhanced.  
3. The Region I ODP Cycle starts June 1 and continues to May 31 of the subsequent year and includes:

   ·        ODP Tournaments

   ·        Id & Development Camps

   ·        Inter-Regionals

   ·        International Trip

4.  In order to participate in the Region 1 ODP program, a player must be eligible to participate for the entire ODP cycle or the balance thereof.
